Boob Bowl for Breast Cancer - Incense/Choc/Gold
Lauren Barton x Bellbrae Clay’s ‘Boob Bowl for Breast Cancer’
Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and the most common cancer among females. 1 in 7 women and about 1 in 550 men expected to be diagnosed in their lifetime.
Early detection and diagnosis provide the best chance of survival.
Artist and owner of Bellbrae Clay, Lauren Barton, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 42 in May 2025. It was a big shock, especially since she had no symptoms. After a double mastectomy 3 weeks later, she is now cancer free but ongoing treatment for the next 5 years of daily medication, monthly treatment in hospital along with the side effects are a consistent reminder of how quickly life can change out of our control.
By purchasing a “Boob Bowl for Breast Cancer,” you will help bring further awareness to early detention and the importance of regular health check ups for busy women, with $10 from your purchase going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on your behalf.
Glazed in a selection of colours, this boob bowl will be a gorgeous addition to your home for yourself or a lovely gift and reminder to look after yourself and check your breasts regularly.
Unique Craftsmanship
Each piece is meticulously hand-built, featuring textural details and individually glazed, no two pieces are alike, offering distinctive characteristics that make each object truly one-of-a-kind.
The Gold Lustre Process
The gold lustre is added on top of a glazed pottery piece and needs a third round in the kiln. This step creates a stunning melted gold layer, giving each dish its beautiful, rich finish.
Measurements: 3cm h x 11cm w approx
*PLEASE NOTE:
*Due to the handmade nature of this piece, each piece is unique which means the texture, colour and shape may differ slightly from the images.
