Boob Bowls for Breast Cancer Event
SUNDAY 30 NOVEMBER / 10am - 12pm
Boob Bowls for Breast Cancer Workshop + Event
Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and the most common cancer among females. 1 in 7 women and about 1 in 550 men expected to be diagnosed in their lifetime.
Early detection and diagnosis provide the best chance of survival.
As many of you know, in May this year (2025), I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 42. It was a big shock, especially since I had no symptoms. After a double mastectomy 3 weeks later, I am cancer free but ongoing treatment for the next 5 years of daily medication, monthly treatment in hospital along with the side effects are a consistent reminder of how quickly life can change out of our control.
This event “Boob Bowls for Breast Cancer,” will help bring further awareness to early detention and the importance of regular health check ups for busy women.
What to Expect
Fun! Join us for a hands-on experience where you'll create your own pair of Boob Bowls, enjoy refreshments and maybe a door prize!
