From the rolling hinterlands to the rugged coastline, every township offers its own mix of artists, styles, and stories. Wander through Torquay’s surf-inspired studios, explore the earthy, nature-driven works in Anglesea, or take a scenic drive inland to find hidden gems in Deans Marsh and Gherang. Each region has something special to offer, giving you the chance to experience the Surf Coast’s rich artistic landscape from a fresh perspective at every stop.

Explore Your Creativity
During the Surf Coast Arts Trail you can join in the fun! Choose between painting pre-made ceramics or crafting your own clay creations at your own pace. Basic instruction sheets will be available, allowing you to guide yourself through the clay-making process. Clay is sold by weight, and our team will be on hand to assist you in selecting the right type and amount of clay for your intended project.
Shop for Unique Gifts
The studio shop will also be open, offering a variety of unique ceramic work perfect for treating yourself or find a special gift.
Complete Your Experience
During your visit, you can add colour to your creations with underglazes. Afterward, your pieces will be fired and glazed, ready for you to collect in approximately four weeks.
