Bellbrae Clay is open for walk-in visits on Fridays! 2pm -6pm.

Come and visit, shop, make or paint some ceramics.

*Please note this time is for simple projects with very minimal assistances, or an opportunity to follow on from a previous tutored workshop. It’s a time to relax and enjoy making in a creative space. For larger projects and hands on guidance please book one of our guided group workshops.

Clay making starts at $50 per person, this will make you a mug sized object or medium sized plate. Additional clay for larger creations is available. Price includes underglaze if you wish to add some colour to your work and full studio access to tools, samples & templates. Pieces will be fired and gloss glazed for you ready for collection in 4-6 weeks.*

Creative Fun at Bellbrae Clay: Open Studio Fridays

This is your perfect opportunity to explore the studio space with friends and family or indulge in some creative "me time."

Explore Your Creativity

During these open studio sessions, you can choose between painting pre-made ceramics or crafting your own clay creations at your own pace. Basic instruction sheets will be available, allowing you to guide yourself through the clay-making process. Clay is sold by weight, and our team will be on hand to assist you in selecting the right type and amount of clay for your intended project.

Shop for Unique Gifts

The studio shop will also be open, offering a variety of unique ceramic work perfect for treating yourself or find a special gift.

Complete Your Experience

During your visit, you can add colour to your creations with underglazes. Afterward, your pieces will be fired and glazed, ready for you to collect in approximately four weeks.
